Spirit horses, usually painted realistic colors, have symbolic markings and are adorned with leather, beadwork, feathers and horsehair. Each spirit horse is numbered, signed and comes with a bit of history, an explanation and a story of that horse.
Fetishes are something that resembles an animal or object and in turn holds power. I bead buffalo, bear, thunderbird, cross, and pony fetishes, attached to each are their power meaning.
Wanna-be-War Ponies were inspired by my son, Suede, who has since became the best stick horse rider this side of the Mississippi. The painted stick horses and rocking horses sparked my son's imagination and he developed quite a relationship with his.
